OceanReports is a publicly available tool which provides data and analysis tools of coastal and marine areas, to assist decisions in ocean commerce, energy development, and environmental resource use and conservation.

�鶹��ý supported this joint endeavor between NOAA’s Office of Coastal Management, NCCOS, and other partners by preparing, validating, and processing more than 100 data sets to produce a smart web application.  This project nominated for the NOAA Administrator’s Award. OceanReports analyzes and visualizes data within customer-determined ocean neighborhoods (polygons) and identifies ocean areas that could support growth of the Blue Economy. Users can get detailed information for a neighborhood on habitats and species, industries in the area, potential hazards (such as undersea cables or shipwrecks), economics of ocean commerce, and oceanographic and physical information.
