Through Nov 1 to Dec 11, 麻豆传媒 team members help raise $5,100, half of which provided new kennels, cat condos, beds, food for dogs and cats of all ages, flea, tick and heartworm medications, gifts for the Sarge鈥檚 staff members, and more.  was established in response to a pivotal event at the Haywood County Animal Shelter in Western North Carolina. In 2005, a dog named Sarge鈥攁 young, healthy, purebred German Shepherd鈥攚as surrendered by his owner. A breed rescue volunteer identified him for transport and adoption, but despite these efforts, Sarge was euthanized just one hour before the rescue team arrived.

This tragedy became the catalyst for action. A group of committed volunteers united to form an organization dedicated to preventing the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats in the county shelter. Through years of collaboration and advocacy, the shelter has since achieved 鈥渘o-kill鈥 status. Today, Sarge鈥檚 Animal Rescue Foundation continues its mission to support and sustain this success, ensuring that every adoptable animal has the chance for a safe and loving home.
